What kind of game is Outfitter?
A fishing and river-running adventure through Montana’s Madison River. Fly fish or use spinners, paddle your canoe, tackle whitewater, track wildlife, and explore the backcountry on foot or by ATV. Gear upgrades and new stretches of river give you plenty to work toward.
Is this based on a real place?
Yes. The journey follows the real Madison River for 228 km, from Madison Junction in Yellowstone to the Missouri Headwaters at Three Forks, Montana. The game divides that journey into 51 playable reaches.
Can I play with a friend?
Outfitter supports solo play and two-player co-op. Paddle the same water in separate canoes, and keep your own gear and progress.
